Updates.
I earned an A in both Beginning French I and Beginning French II.
I also earned a B in Fundamentals of Design I.
I visited the Netherlands, took a day trip to Belgium, and spent two layovers in France.
I enjoy international news outlets such as France 24 and NHK World.
I have become a fully inducted member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
I think I can possibly do as well this semester as I did the last two, although ...
... I submitted my most recent College Composition II assignment many hours late, after its deadline of 12:30 PM. This tardiness should then result in a small grade deduction.
... At the beginning of the fall term, my Introduction to Literature instructor gave me a grade of 78 (a C) on my first writing assignment, a character analysis. However, my other grades in that course remain solid A's, save for an 80 (a B) on one quiz.
... I missed my most recent Introduction to Computer Applications and Concepts class because I thought my instructor had canceled it for the Thanksgiving holiday. Because I thought this, I hung out with my boyfriend instead, but after returning home, I found out that I actually should have gone to school and taken a minor quiz. Yet, my instructor usually determines the grade for a quiz that any student has missed according to how well he or she performs on the following midterm or final, and I also have attended all of his other classes, so my one absence should not severely affect my average grade--which, before that absence, has remained all A's.
Regardless, I still worry about school.
After some adjustments, I can return now to my old out-of-state university, but I do not know whether I can try to handle homesickness again ... unless, perhaps, I break off my relationship with my boyfriend.
Here end my updates, and happy Thanksgiving.
